Preparing for the World Social Security Forum 2013. Will be rising Qatar into new international social standards.
The ISSA Secretary General Hans-Horst Konkolewsky presented the ISSA and outlined plans for the World Social Security Forum, which will be the first to take place in the region. The ISSA’s mandate is to promote and develop social security worldwide, as a human right and as a key factor of social and economic development, he said, and the Forum will be a landmark event for social security.During the ceremony, the logo design selected for the World Social Security Forum was presented. The logo, pictured on left, which was conceived by the award-winning designer Tarek Atrissi, is a calligraphic rendering of the Arabic word "Qatar" with the ISSA corporate colours.

Turki’s saying: “ the invitation came from the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, hosting the next forum. This is from Qatar’s believes and visions in expanding the social security gates. And the great respect and concern in the individual.”
Turki added by saying: “ we look forward welcoming the representatives of the social security organization. The world social security forum is organized every three years, considering it one of the largest conferences happenings.”
