Oman Air  recently joined the "Discounts" initiative after the General Authority for Retirement and Social Security signed an agreement with the airline to grant retirees a discount of 15% on 52 destinations around the world. The offer does not include infant tickets, and other promotional offers.

The agreement, which will be effective until April 30, 2019, provides discount for civil and military retirees who has the "pension card". The agreement shows the parties' keenness to strengthen their partnership and dedicate it to serve the Qatari pensioner.

The regional director, Mr. Zulfiqar Zadjali, invited retirees who wished to benefit from the offer, to check Al Sad sales office, or call 44142222, as the agreement was an appreciation of Oman Air for all the efforts made by Qatari retirees to raise their country, It is a message of thanks, gratitude and appreciation to them, adding that our accession to the initiative came from the keenness to activate community responsibility.

On this occasion, Al Zadjali thanked the GRSIA for providing Oman Air the opportunity to participate in the service of Qataris covered by the pension scheme, hoping that the offer will meet the aspirations of the retirees and their needs.

The GRSIA described the agreement as an important partnership that provides pensioners with competitive prices, as it assured to hold more partnerships. It is currently studying a number of offers from various parties wishing to join the program, in order to achieve the desired goal of reducing the burden on retirees by granting them exclusive discounts on all their major and minor purchases. The GRSIA noted the importance of issuing a pension card from either the GRSIA or the ADLSA to benefit from these offers.

The GRSIA has recently signed contracts with more than 20 new entities, offering discounts of up to 70%.
